The Big Day! Our Pride march will kick off at 12.30pm from Barrack Close in Ennis (across from the Clare Champion offices), finishing up in glor for a family fun event from 1.00pm to 3.00pm. All are welcome at both events.That afternoon, we will host a Queer Book Club in Scéal Eile Bookhop, 16 Lower Market St, Ennis (free event), followed by a screening of the amazing documentary 'Lesbian Lines' in the Arc Cinema, Ennis. Tickets cost €7.50 each and can be purchased in person only - at the cinema in advance or on the day of the screening.We will host our Pride Afterparty in the VIP Bar in The Queens that evening. Doors at 8pm, show from 9pm followed by a DJ set til the wee hours! Get your tickets here - €10 +booking fee.
We will have a swim with the Ballybathers swim club at Bishops Quarter in Ballyvaughan, followed by tea, coffee and biscuits, at 11.30am. All are welcome, no pre registration needed but if you are coming alone you can give us a heads up by emailing info@quareclare.ie. This is a free event.We will finish up the weekend with a Pride Comedy Workshop and show with the hilarious Breda Larkin from 2.00pm to 6.00pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
