During Pride Week, don’t miss the poignant Irish AIDS Quilt exhibition, a must-see exhibit on display in the lobby of glór’s in Ennis. Featuring an engaging audio guide narrating the origin story of the Irish Names Project, the exhibit showcases three beautifully crafted quilts that pay tribute to the memory of those who lost their lives to AIDS and HIV-related illnesses in Ireland. The Irish Names Project, has created these powerful quilts as a heartfelt testament to love, remembrance, and the ongoing fight against the stigma surrounding AIDS. This moving display invites us to reflect on the resilience of the LGBTQIA+ community and the importance of solidarity in the face of adversity during Pride Week.
